After almost 10 years with Somos Familia, Maritza will be stepping down as executive director at the end of 2023.

Somos Familia isn’t going anywhere. We have been building our internal systems and working to be a place built for longevity and prosperity. We have been working to ensure we have:

• Exceptionally Talented Team - In addition to our two fantastic staff members, Alex and Monica, our board, interns, and volunteers are fully committed to continuing to impact Latine/x LGBTQ+ people and their families for years to come.
• Clear Strategic Direction - Somos Famlila’s trajectory is clear in terms of goals and objectives as we continue to build community, and that will guide the organization for the coming years.
• Financial Stability - With your support, we are in a healthy financial position.
